John and Kerry Koelenbeek, with their sister, Joyce Clement, had a dream many years ago of owning a small piece of paradise on a tropical island. In 2007, that dream began to come true with the purchase of this piece of property off the Queen's Highway in GHB. We are still in awe of the beauty and peacefulness that greets us each time we drive up to Caribbean Blue. Sitting on the porch or down by the water with a good book, gardening, cooking, or exploring the beaches are the many ways we continue to enjoy this wonderful island.

Thank you, Greg. We look forward to your return.
We spent three weeks at Caribbean Blue and absolutely fell in love with the place. It is in a perfect location just outside of Governors Harbour, within easy reach of several beautiful beaches, shopping, groceries and restaurants.
The house is very well maintained, tastefully furnished and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked if you like to create your own meals.
The screened in porch is fabulous, we spent every day out there playing games, reading and just enjoying paradise.
You can snorkel, enjoy the sun on the patio or play games under the palapa by the ocean.
You will need a four wheeled drive vehicle to enjoy the many beaches and get up and down the driveway. It's an adventure in itself.
We enjoyed Lighthouse beach, Receivers beach, Rainbow Beach, Twin Cove beach, and Sweetings Pond. Had fun driving to Sapphire Blue Hole and Preachers Cave. Got an awesome meal at Tippy's along with a great beach walk, had great food and friendly service at Frigates in Rock Sound and enjoyed all the great baked goods a GH Bakery and Cravings at the top of the lane.
Kerry and John were lovely and easy to work with to plan our holiday, and responded quickly to inquiries.
We would highly recommend Caribbean Blue and hope to return one day.

What an amazing vacation to Eleuthera and I enjoyed my stay at Caribbean Blue. The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. When I first arrived and walked into the porch, I saw a sign that says “Welcome to Paradise” – so true, it definitely was paradise. The house was clean and tidy and had a well-stocked kitchen. Pictures do not always do justice as the house is nicer than it shows.
The screened in porch was so nice to sip coffee on in the morning or relax at night after a day at the beach. The views were beautiful and the sunsets amazing. We even saw a dolphin one morning. I loved the outdoor shower. It was nice to sit under the Palapa and relax after a swim or snorkeling or have a drink and watch the sunset.
Caribbean Blue is in the perfect location. Located in the middle of the island so it was convenient to visit many of the beaches Eleuthera has to offer. The house is located close to Governor’s Harbor to shop for groceries, liquor, and souvenirs. It has a nice bakery and several good restaurants.
I would recommend either a 4-Wheel drive or an SUV to get to some of the beaches. The beaches were absolutely beautiful and there was hardly anyone there when we went. It was like we had the beaches to ourselves. The beaches and views on Eleuthera are breathtaking. Again, paradise!
The owners were very nice and helpful. The Information Book they provided listed places to go and see on the beautiful island of Eleuthera along with helpful information on the house. We went for two weeks and I am so glad we did. One week is not enough time to see all Eleuthera has to offer. This vacation was a retirement celebration but I would love to go back and stay at Caribbean Blue again. I recommend Caribbean Blue for anyone going to Eleuthera. Thank you for a wonderful retirement vacation.

You are so welcome! Thanks for selecting our home for your celebration. Come back soon!
Caribbean Blue's isolated oceanfront location, private swimming and fishing, and close proximity to Governor's Harbor are just few of the reasons why I enjoyed stating here.
Its location in central Eleuthera made traveling to destinations either north or south that much shorter, giving you more time to spend at the beach.
I can't say enough about the beaches! A few of my favorites were French Leave, Coco Di Mama, and especially Whiteland Beach. It's best to rent an SUV for better access to beaches.
Hanging out under the palapa, sipping boat drinks, and swimming and snorkeling right there at Caribbean Blue was great! Sitting on the screened-in porch in the evenings and watching the Antillean Nighthawks feeding on insects over the water was a bonus. Plus, the massive schools of fish that swam by in the afternoon and evenings was fantastic!
The house is kept in good condition. Kitchenware, TV, music, A/C, plumbing, internet access, etc. thumbs up.
Can't wait to return!

This property provides the perfect escape from reality. Pictures and words are not enough to describe the feelings of total relaxation derived from spending time at Caribbean Blue! The house provides seclusion, while at the same time, it's mid-island location makes it easy to explore the Island. The house is very well stocked with all amenities. The huge screened porch with awesome views, Caribbean breeze, and sounds of nature was our main hangout from coffee in the morning to cocktails in the evening. Another not to miss treasure is taking a dip in the clear blue water right in front of the house.
Easy to follow information and maps about Island attractions and beaches to explore are available at the house. Excellent communication with owners!
Our stay was well beyond our expectations!
