Cobalt Cottage is a brand-new Oceanside escape on the special part of Eleuthera known as Whale Point. This part of the island is just a few hundred feet wide, separating a calm sandy harbor from the Atlantic, in fact from our rooftop deck you can see the turquoise Bottom Harbor, Harbour Island’s pink sand beach and the rocky Atlantic coast!
Cobalt Cottage has been designed to make the most of its location- from the kitchen, to the couch, and both queen beds, you can see the ocean! Outfitted with more square-footage outdoors than in, there is no shortage of options for sunsets, sunrises, sun bathing or a nap in the shade. From the lookout deck you can even see Harbour Island and the Bottom Harbor!
The space is perfectly outfitted for 2 families with children, or a group of close friends sharing the 2 Queen beds and huge bunk room! The front porch includes a private outdoor shower, and the back porch has a slide, in case the steps get old.
Other things to note:
Whale point is in North Eleuthera, convenient to both the Spanish Wells and Harbour Island docks, and a myriad of amazing beaches- Gaulding Cay, Twin Sisters, Ben Bay, Tay Bay, Surfer's Beach are all within 20 minutes, and there are other beaches beyond that that are worth the day trip!
Other amazing natural attractions- Sapphire Blue Cove, Preachers Cave, Queens Baths, Glass Window Bridge, Hatchet Bay Cave and Sweetings Pond are all within 30 minutes of the Cottage.

• Please turn off the AC when you go out or if you would like the windows or doors open to the breeze.
• No parties or events allowed.
• No unregistered guests allowed.
• No smoking or open flames allowed in the house and on decks.
• Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.
• Please respect the neighbors by keeping quiet between 9 pm and 7 am.
• Please care for our home as of it were your home- do not bring indoor furniture outdoors.
• The swings are made for kids only and have a weight limit of 100 pounds.
• Please do not climb on the outside of the slide.
• The sand area around the slide and swings has rocks and roots, so we recommend having kids run around in shoes to protect their feet.
• We know kids will be kids, but please do not allow them to jump from the top loft onto the lower beds to ensure their safety or to rough house on the structure.
• Please do not touch the AC unit up in the loft of the bunk room.
• We are on septic, and NOTHING but bodily waste and toilet paper can go down the toilet. If things back up, it will be costly and embarrassing.
• There is a Sediment filter on the rainwater, but we recommend drinking bottled water.
• Some ways to conserve water:
Don’t let the tap run in the kitchen or bathroom
Take short showers & only as needed
“If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down.”
If you are staying for less than a week, please consider taking your laundry home to wash.

Colbolt Cottage is awesome! Chad and Hope are great to work with. Quick responses , attention to detail, service and products way above Bahamas standards . Adrian was a super connection to local knowledge and services. Our entire family of 10 were very comfortable everyone had cozy beds. Great setup, brand new house, skilled hosts. Perfect vacation. We will be back.

Cobalt cottage was a wonderful stay!
Cobalt cottage was a wonderful stay! My husband and I especially Loved the Sunrises over the Atlantic, the waterfront (can’t swim but sand and rocks and good beach combing), we would take our coffee down there and watch sunrise. So wonderful to hear the waves from the house.
The home and neighborhood were so quiet and peaceful, the Colors in the house make you feel alive.
You can enjoy the house, the property and the 2 beaches in the neighborhood and not leave the area for days!
Views from windows were spectacular- the great room and from bed!
The covered porch with the swing bed was 1 of my favorite places. You could Sit with a friend and chat, read a book, play a game.
The owners have thought about everything that you might need - a cooler backpack, a 5 gallon jug of drinking water, even a traveling wine thermos!
The bed and pillows are even better than what I have at home.

Friendly and awesome care taker!
Chad & Hope were great as we prepared for our trip and it was just as described. They set the expectation that there may still be a few kinks to work out, being brand new, & we went in with that expectation, which was great. No problems encountered, just a few things like a latch on the screen door to keep it closed as an example. I’m sure it’s already done! We had a last minute change in our schedule due to flight delays and needed a flexible checkin. The caretaker met me early & everyone was very helpful. The notes say there is a salty residue on all of the dishes from the cistern and it threw us off at first. we know it is part of the uniqueness of an outer island & it ended up a non-issue. The house is great for young families & the kid storage bunk room is a great idea for large groups of kids. As described the house is on the water & there is no direct water access but 2 beaches are very close. We had a great stay!

Amazing Location!
The very first thing to say about Cobalt Cottage is… LOCATION! This amazing home sits right on the Atlantic side of Whale Point where the sunrises over the water views from ritually every room greet you when you wake up every morning. And from the 3rd story observation deck you can see the sun set over the Caribbean bay, and enjoy the unfiltered beauty of the breathtaking starry nights. And we enjoyed more than a few naps on the large comfy swing n the screened in porch !
Chad and Hope are amazing hosts who have thought of virtually everything. The home is professionally decorated yet extremely homey - well laid out with thoughtful touches. And Adrian our property manager was extremely responsive and helpful, always checking in on us to make sure we were taken care of.
Hope and Chad’s recommendations were on point - restaurants, bars, and and beaches!
Can’t wait to book our next trip!

This AirBnB stands out as the most fun spot with anything you will need to enjoy your time in paradise! You can take in the sunrise AND sunset, and gaze at the clear sky at night. The decor is outstanding—truly the most thoughtful details are there to make guests feel like they are on vacation in paradise. We loved Eleuthera but at the end of the day, we all looked forward to returning to the house to spend time in our home away from home.
It has to be mentioned that Adrian, who manages the property, is exemplary. He was there for us if we needed anything at all, and checked in daily to make sure we were doing fine. We had an issue with a flight delay and he was ready to assist us if we needed to stay longer. This stands out as it can be a challenge to navigate things in a new place!
We had four teens with us and right after they explored the house they called me over, got on their hands and knees, and thanked me for booking the place. To me, that speaks volumes!
