Amazing cottage, amazing people
Four of us just got back from Spanish Wells and stayed at the Western View Cottage. We could not of asked for a better place to stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There is internet access available and the owners have a Magic Jack for us to hook up to our computer and call anywhere for free. The golf cart runs great and is fast! The ocean kayak is extremely stable and comfortable, we took it all the way down the channel between spanish wells and russell island. The owners are very friendly and so helpful, they only live footsteps away. The crystal clear beach is literally a stones throw away from the house, you dont have to drive to the beach, it is right there. The beach by the house is my favorite opposed to the other beach on the east side, the water is very shallow and warm and seems a lot more clear.(although all the beaches are breath taking) This house is so reasonably priced, I wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island. There is a food store in town called Food Fair and it has just about everything you need and the prices are not bad at all. There is also a pharmacy in the Food Fair with a very helpful pharmacist. There are a bunch of quaint restaurants but the Snack Bar and Norma's are my personal favourites. If you are looking for a place to feel at home, stay at the Western Cottage you'll thank yourself. The owners are the most friendly approachable people around, they will gladly help you out with anything.
We can't wait to return.
