Amazing vacation rental!!!

We spent a week at the beautiful High Seas. The home is in a great location, very comfortable and peaceful. Jackie, the owner, put us in touch with Laura for a car rental and she had it ready and waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. Super convenient and easy!

The immaculate house is modern and well stocked. We had everything we could possibly need for our stay including a fully-stocked kitchen, towels and the coziest beds. Every day we woke up to the lovely breeze and sound of the ocean waves. The large deck has breathtaking views of the Atlantic during the day and the most amazing views of the stars at night.

The central location of the house allowed easy access to explore so much of the island. Some highlights were spending the day at Harbour Island, visiting Rainbow Bay Beach, and the Friday night Fish Fry at Governor's Harbour. We also really enjoyed the famous "pizza night" at the Rainbow Bay Inn (only a 5 min walk from the house).

I cannot recommend High Seas enough! We will definitely be back again soon. Thank you for sharing your amazing home with us Jackie!

Hello Christine, I am really happy you enjoyed your stay at High Seas and experienced so much beautiful Eleuthera has to offer. I think it's important to have a comfy bed with good bedding to sleep at night, so I am glad you slept well. Hearing the ocean and looking at how clear the sky is at night is the BEST! Relaxing Eleuthera home

Love your home: clean, decorated well, many supplies available, lovely lady near by to help with needs, beautiful beaches and cliffs nearby to explore. Owner very helpful!

Stunning views, great location, comfy house - could not have asked for anything better!

Our family of four stayed at High Seas in mid-March. It really was just the perfect home base for us as we explored beautiful Eleuthera for the first time. The house was super comfortable (great beds!), the kitchen was supplied with everything we might need (blender!) and the views and the sounds of the nearby waves were simply phenomenal, and breathtaking. Every morning I would wake up and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic with my coffee, after having watched the unadulterated night sky full of stars. I felt so lucky.

We had a logistical issue related to transportation (nothing to do with High Seas), and both Jackie and Laura (and Laura’s husband Will) could not have been more helpful and responsive; I was so impressed by them.

One thing I had been unsure of prior to our trip was whether Rainbow Bay (vs. Governor’s Harbor or somewhere else) would be a convenient home base. I’m so glad we stayed in Rainbow Bay. First, it was so peaceful and quiet. Second, I had my very own private ocean road run each morning (along Ocean Road and Smuggler’s Beach and Hidden Beach). Third, we were just so close to the lovely Rainbow Bay Beach (3 minute drive). We used the Beach Book and visited other three-star beaches (e.g. the stunning French Leave Beach Central, Surfer’s Beach and others) but we also really loved Rainbow Bay Beach, and we took advantage of the proximity with more than a couple of late afternoon dips. It was easy enough to get to Governor’s Harbor, and I was very happy with our choice to stay in the quiet enclave of Rainbow Bay, closer to Gregory Town.

Jackie, thank you so much for sharing this gem of a home with the rest of us! Laura and Will, thank you so much for your help and hospitality while we were “living” at High Seas. We hope to return as soon as possible!

Hi Anna, it was so nice chatting to you on the phone before your visit as I don’t always get to chat to guests. Reading your review made me smile so big! It’s the best feeling hearing guests enjoy my place as well as Eleuthera as much as I do :-)

Thank you for your wonderful description of the location of High Seas. It’s hard to get a lay of the land until you are on the island but you describe it so well it’s easy for future guests to envision. You make a really good point about the stars at night as well that I am going to add that into my description of High Seas.

I couldn’t own High Seas without the help of Laura (and Will). They are truly gems.

Thank you for looking after my piece of paradise and enjoying it with your family.

The vacation did not last long enough

We loved the very quiet environment. It is the perfect place for a quiet get away. The property is surrounded by trees for maximum privacy. We love sitting on the deck and watching the ocean as the world floats by. It is also great for sun bathing. The location is convenient. It is only a short drive to Rainbow Bay and nice restaurants. I would suggest Pizza night at Rainbow Bay Bar and Grill, dinner at the Front Porch, and Brenda and Billy Stubb’s BBQ for lunch on Friday and Saturday. Jackie, the owner is very easy to reach and attentive to our needs.

Beautiful House, Great Location!

Clean, bright, comfortable home away from home. Lovely breeze all day long, hardly needed to use the AC at all. Rented a car from Laura and was able to explore the island. So many highlights hard to name them all, Queens Baths, Snorkelling at Caulding Cay, Paddle boarding at Cocodimama, walking for hours along the beautiful beaches on the Atlantic side. Da Salty Pig Adventures with Captain Janssen was absolutely great, swam with the pigs and did some of the best snorkelling on our trip. Will absolutely come back to High Seas House next year!
