Perfect vacation

The home was AWESOME.. we felt very welcomed in this clean, open, inviting house for the whole week. We were able to enjoy the BBQ on the deck, many walks on the beach (very private) snorkeled in the ocean, was welcomed by everyone we saw. We took our family and were all very comfortable in this house. Purchased lobster and fish in town, took cooler with meat and a bag of dry food goods with us, glad we did, store have very small selections, made it easy to have snacks and cereal for kids. Thank you Kirk and Marion.. if we ever go back we will for sure stay in your place!!!

Best and most relaxing vacation ever!!

We stayed at the Barefoot Villa for a week. The property was just awesome! Well maintained and perfect for us. We found once we arrived there was no reason to venture very far. The home was very nicely appointed and we couldn't think of anything we may have missed. Total relaxation! It was very nice being close to Governor's Harbor. Don't miss the Friday Night Fish Fry!! The snorkeling right in front of the house was awesome. We spent everyday in the water. Fabulous sunrises.....and the Caribbean was very close. We plan on returning!!!

Amazing Views, Complete Privacy, Beautiful Water

We arrived on a Sunday morning and were welcomed by a very clean and neat home. Very large dining table that easily hosted our group of 8 with beautifully update kitchen and appliances. Most of our time was spent on the very private beach and in the clear blue water. We used the snorkeling gear that was available in the garage and visited the many beautiful reefs not far from shore. We saw many different types of fish, sea turtles, and even 2 dolphins right off the beach in front of the house! Although very private, the home is not far from restaurants and grocery stores. I would definitely recommend this villa to a friend. I am already planning my trip back next year.

Thank you for the great review

Absolutely Perfect

My wife and our friends chose this amazing house to ring in the new year and we had an absolutely amazing time. There were 11 people in the house total and it slept everyone comfortably. The views from the deck, screened in porch, and beach were absolutely breathe taking. The new appliances and amenities that the house offered were unbeatable, all brand new kitchen appliances, two refrigerators, and new washer and dryer. They really help provide some of the comforts of home and make vacationing easier. We were able to watch all of the bowl games with the satellite TV. The wireless internet was also a nice plus for those of us who had to do a little work while away. The things everyone enjoyed the most were snorkeling in the reefs right behind the house and the absolute abundance of wild life; we were able to swim with two dolphins, swim up to a sea turtle, several stingrays and a plethora of reef fish. Taking the two Ocean Kayaks out was also a blast. The house was in a perfect location as well to experience as much or as little island life as we wanted. We had the perfect vacation.

Dolphins and Barracudas and Turtles Oh My!

I recently stayed at the Barefoot Beach Villa over the New Year's Holiday. The house is wonderful. Lots of top of the line amenities. The satellite TV ensured I would not miss any of the college football games and the WiFi allowed me to stay connected in case a work emergency arose. The best part of the house is the semi-private beach, a short expanse of pinkish white sand that is shared by a few houses in the area. There is amble room for the entire family to enjoy the ocean. I went snorkeling everyday on the reefs located right off the beach. One day two wild dolphins decided to swim with me which was quite the sight. Another day, while enjoying the colorful fish of the reef, I came face-to-face with a large barracuda which seemed just as curious about me as I was of it. Other highlights of the reef were a green sea turtle, a pufferfish, and a gigantic grouper. Had I the proper equipment to spearfish, the kitchen would have been perfect for cooking up my catch. It must have been remodeled recently as all the appliances were top of the line. Also, I strongly suggest enjoying a midday rinse in the outdoor shower. Warm water and a blue sky make for some serious relaxation.
