Family vacation

Great trip to Eleuthera! Second trip to the island and not disappointed. My husband and I and 4 kids ages 15-8 stayed for 9 days with plenty of room and plenty to do. Good snorkeling right off the beach, lots of snorkel gear, life jackets and beach gear. Enjoyed the kayaks, even our 8 year old could handle one on a calm day. We stayed in Double Bay last trip and loved it, but N Palmetto seemed a little calmer and better for the kayaks. Kirk was very quick to respond to any questions and Howard was great to make sure we were well taken care of while in Eleuthera. Always sad to leave and hope to return again!

Beautiful!

Our family of 7 absolutely loved BBV! The layout was perfect for us, and the location is amazing! The beach at the villa is one of the best on the island, and the snorkeling there off the beach is great too!

Howard was fantastic and always easy to reach!

Beautiful Place

If you are looking for a great spot for a beach vacation, what could be better than a villa with a pool, situated on a hill looking down onto an amazingly beautiful pink Sand Beach, with the clearest water you'll ever see?

This is it. This is The One! The One you've been looking for. Absolutely Wonderful!!

Surrounded by palms & an ever-present tropical breeze, Barefoot Beach Villa exceeds expectations in every way. The Home is well stocked with every gadget & device you could want or need. Regular American TV Channels are available if you want - We Didn't.

Howard, the Caretaker is very personable & ready to help with anything you might need, whether it's how to set up the pool pump, or something broken, or just information about Eleuthera in general.

As you're looking for places to stay, put this one at the top of your list - You won't be disappointed!

Simply Amazing

This was our first trip to eluthera and I must say this place has made a standard of what we want when visiting the island. It was only me and my wife staying so the house was very spacious. Upon checking in the view was amazing from the deck which is nicely equipped with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for those who are not sun worshipers, and a hammock. The house also provides life vest with many varieties of sizing, flippers and masks. The day we checked in the ocean water was extremely calm and we hoped it stayed that way but unfortunately Mother Nature kept most of our week cloudy with high winds that brought rougher water. It’s nice to have the pool for instances such as this. I would say that at this time of year we stayed if there are clouds and minimal sun it’s best to heat the pool for the additional charge. If later in the year with more full sun days I think the pool water can go without heating. We don’t really like hot water anyways so if we would have had sun we wouldn’t have heated it. It’s nice to have this option and Howard can come over to heat for you. The wifi at the house was more than adequate. We used a streaming stick to watch netflix as well as the dish TV provided. The kayaks were alot of fun. But the biggest thing I want to rave over is the back up generator, thank goodness for that. I heard the generator kick on everyday for a few hours at a time due to the island loosing power. Even a tiny wind storm will bring a power outage here but we didn’t have to worry about a thing. It made our stay so comfortable and I will not stay anyplace on the island in the future without a generator. The master bedroom was spacious and the AC in each room was very nice and kept us cool when we needed. My only recommendation is to get some new king pillows as they seemed pretty worn and maybe consider getting a new mattress. The mattress situations of rental homes vary and it really boils down to a subjective opinion of what is comfortable. The king felt pretty hard and worn so we slept more in the queen room as it was much softer since our back started to hurt. None the less we would totally book this home again. The kitchen has all you ever need including j.a. Henkel knives, Kirkland brand pots and pans, to a blender and garlic press. Easily in our top 3 accomidations accross all our vacations. Thank you for the kind review and suggestion. The king mattress is fairly new, we sent down a mattress topper for the king bed and new pillows for all of the beds.
