After a day of travel we were delighted to enter One Palm Hill, take in the beauty, get settled, and begin a week of R&R. The home’s caretaker, Carol, soon arrived to welcome us and answer all of our questions. She is a great resource for local recommendations! The house also has a binder with all kinds of helpful information about the house, shopping, dining, and adventures to the beach and beyond. The homeowner was extremely helpful to us as we made preparations for our trip, which made for a seamless transition to our vacation.
This is a gorgeous new home with an ideal set up for multiple couples/families. The home is lovely both inside and out, and the view to the Atlantic is a sweet addition and reminder of the stunning Twin Coves beach just a mile or so down the hill from the house (a three-minute drive). The house is clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and bedding, great closets, and wonderful en suite bathrooms. The windows and sliding door in the living room allow for great breezes, but the house is also equipped with fabulous air conditioning and ceiling fans in every room.
The owners of this home thought of everything you could possibly need to be comfortable and relaxed. All rooms are well stocked, whether its bath or beach towels, blankets, pillows, or reading materials. The kitchen is also well stocked with great appliances, utensils, glassware, plates, and cooking staples (don’t miss the spice drawer!). Having the washer, dryer, and outdoor shower was a huge plus for our stay.
The deck and pool area is equipped with couches, umbrellas, chaise lounges, table and chairs, a grill, and, of course the wonderful pool. There are plenty of pool and beach accessories in the storage shed. The deck and pool area is great spot at any time of the day or evening, and the landscaping around the home is peaceful and beautiful.
One Palm Hill is ideal if you are looking for a comfortable and beautifully appointed home with a pool, close to stunning beaches, restaurants, groceries/liquor, and local eateries. We highly recommended this home on all fronts!

This home is beautiful, very clean, extremely organized and stocked with everything we could need and more ! The interior decor is modern, bright, and fresh! The owners paid attention to every detail you could think of to make this home very comfortable and welcoming. Carol was very helpful during a storm that left us without electricity and the generator did not work right away; she solved the problem very efficiently. We were two families with 4 adults and 4 kids ages 3 to 10. The kids enjoyed the pool mornings and nights and we enjoyed being able to relax while watching them. We rented a car and for two weeks we traveled all 110 miles of Eleuthera in search of its beautiful beaches, one more wonderful than the next! We also enjoyed Twin Cove beach, a 5 minute drive from the house down the road on the Atlantic side. Shop right in Governor's Harbour and join the friendly Bahamian locals and other tourists every Friday night for fish fry. In Eleuthera we found beauty, nature, peace and simplicity and we enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you Krista and Carol!

We were a group of 7, 2 families: 4 adults, 3 kids (6, 4) and a toddler.
Well, the pictures didn't do the place justice. This place is BRAND NEW and with nothing spared, the owners surely made themselves a nice place and I want to thank them for letting us rent it. From the comforts offered by this house, we almost forgot we were in a somewhat remote area. And to go with it, Carol is always close by to make sure there's nothing to worry about (even for dumb questions or tips on where to go).
The house is impecable in every way, from the great taste in decoration to the kitchen appliances, BBQ and beds. The house has everything you need or can imagine needing: the kitchen has every necessary utensil, pot, pans, dishes, cups, etc, etc, etc. The living room has big couches with cushions and blankets (great A/Cs, by the way), with a brand new super TV, Xbox with games and plenty of DVDs (including the entire Star Wars collection!). In the rooms and bathrooms everything was nice, comfortable and, new. The kids room even has a Nintendo Wii. The terrace or pool area is nicely equipped with sofas and lay flat sun couches, lunch table and a Weber gas BBQ; the pool is the best spot to end the day. The house also has some beach gear, toys and a nice storage area to keep everything in it's place.
In terms of location, it took us less than 10 minutes from the Governor's Harbour Airport to the house, door to door. It takes 5 minutes to town. In terms of where to go, the beach that's really close by is a 3 minutes drive away (maybe a mile downhill) and is breathtakingly beautiful, with a small peninsula that sometimes turns into an island by the waves that cover the path (Twin Coves Beach). We spent most days at Cocodimama beach (10 min drive), since the kids are still a bit young and the endless shallow perfectly transparent water makes it ideal. But there are endless beaches within a 10-20 min drive. Just remember, keep left.
In short, this house is perfect for anyone that wants to have a great place to stay with every comfort imaginable and close to beaches, groceries, licor store, gas and coffee shop. Best place I've ever rented. Highly recommended.

Auto unbedingt erforderlich , am besten ein robustes Auto wg. schlechter Straßen.
Sehr gepflegt und sauber. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet.
