We had such a wonderful visit

This was our first visit to the Bahamas and Eleuthera. We had such a wonderful visit that we plan to return next year. The Cozy Villa was very private and the beach was the most beautiful beach that we have ever visited. We snorkeled right outside of our door almost every day. The water was so clear and calm and the beach itself was very quiet and peaceful. We met a few other visitors, but we had the beach to ourselves most days. Thanks very much Dawn and Sherry!! We will see you next year!!

8 wonderful nights

Dawn's house was a real beauty. We spent 8 wonderful nights there this month. The location is remote and very quiet and that's exactly what we were looking for. Dawn was very easy to communicate with and was there to answer any questions we had. Don't hesitate to rent this amazing house, you wont regret it...Also, Sherri the housekeeper was so sweet and checked in on us during our stay. Thanks Dawn and Sherri, we'll be back.

You're very welcome Cormac - and you're welcome back any time!

great time

We had a great time during our stay on Eluthera. Rented a car from Sherry, drove south one day and spent the next day on Harbour Island. Went to the local grocery store and cooked a couple meals. The house has everything you need. It was very hot but we made the best of it. This place is beautiful! Can't wait to plan our next trip!

Sorry about the heat and the power outages - life in the tropics! Sorry about the car change also: unfortunately it's not cost-effective to fix it - transmission's gone,+ age of course, so we can no longer offer that amenity.

Perfectly secluded and pristine waterfront

The Host, Dawn, and her sister, Sherry, are incredibly sweet and helpful. Perfectly secluded and pristine waterfront--ideal honeymoon location. RENT THE CAR. You will need it. We were not old enough to be insured, but there is practically no traffic and driving is very safe. The car is old, but it will serve its purpose. The kitchen is fairly bare, but you can make do. Definitely go grocery shopping at "the big shop" in The Bluff, rather than the little shop in Lower Bogue. Bring bug repellant. The mosquitoes and the sandflies are vicious. There is snorkel gear at the villa. Make the most of it. We woke up one morning without power and just had to wait for it to come back on since there is no generator at the villa, but thankfully it came back on quickly and we had AC again. The Bahamas are a third world country and I don't think we were very aware of that until we got there. Now you know. Go down to Hatchet Bay (45ish min South) and eat at The Front Porch. It's pricey, but delicious--definitely the best meal we ate on the island. My new wife and I are very excited to go back in the future for an anniversary. You will fall in love with the place a little bit.
