"Best Vacation Ever"

My small family just returned from a stay at Indigo Seas, where we went to visit more family who live or were visiting nearby. The house was even nicer than it seems on this website--the bedrooms were large and comfortable, the place was new and super-clean, the view of the sometimes-wild Atlantic was spectacular.... The kitchen was far better equipped than a lot of rental kitchens even in the states--we made a family meal for 9 one night with no problem! The location is really convenient, with 2 beautiful and very different beaches in walking (or maybe 2 minute driving if you have kids) distance, and convenient to Governors Harbour but also far north enough to make it easy to get to Harbour Island. The house has games for kids, really interesting books about a lot of aspects of Eleuthera, and all-in-all was just great. The owner is very helpful and knows a ton about the island--we were visiting locals, but basically did all the things on the long and well-though-out list the owners sent us! When we had to leave, my daughter said to me that our stay was "the best vacation ever." And we've been a lot of very "fancy"places in the Bahamas. But for relaxation and nice people and natural beauty, this place IS the best!
