Fantastic pre christmas getaway at Indigo Seas

Thanks Dave and Israel, we had a fantastic time at Indigo Seas. The views are spectacular and your location is ideal for island exploring. This was our second time to Eleuthera and we would definitely rent your ideal cottage again. The guest cottage was perfect for my parents and there was plenty of room in the main house for my husband and I and our two boys in their early twenties. Thanks for the kayaks, we loved exploring in them. We will be back. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in central Eleuthera.

Wonderful owner

I would like to share a wonderful experience I have had with Dave, the owner of Indigo Seas. I contacted Dave to ask questions about his property. He sincerely wanted to ensure his property met the needs of our little group, and was very honest about not being sure it would be big enough for us. He took the time to share with me a lot of very useful information about Rainbow Bay and the island. That was certainly greatly appreciated, and will help us plan our stay in Eleuthera. Dave was extremely generous and genuinely wanted us to have a great time in the Bahamas. His property did not meet the needs of our group, but otherwise, we would have stayed there for sure, feeling confident that this is a great spot with a very kind and honest owner who wishes his guests a great stay.

one of the best rental homes in Rainbow Bay

We have a love for Eleuthera that goes back 40 years and have stayed in many rental homes. We just got back from a eight day stay at Indigo Seas and wish we could have stayed longer. It's a cute 2 bedroom 2 bath home with a detached cottage with one full bed and its own bathroom. We had 4 adults and were very comfortable there. It would be ideal for a family with children also. We loved our view sitting on the porch looking out over the Atlantic and we had a nice breeze that kept the house very comfortable without the use of the air conditioners. The house is conveniently located in the center of Eleuthera in beautiful Rainbow Bay, making it easy to travel to either end of the island. You have one of the best restaurants, Rainbow Inn, located nearby also. The house is very well equiped for cooking your own meals and also has a gas grill. Dave, the owner, was a pleasure to talk to and is very accommodating. His caretaker, Israel, was very helpfull too. We plan to go back again with our daughter & son in law in a few months and will definitely rent this house again!

Wonderful and Relaxing

Indigo Seas is the perfect escape from reality! Charming house with many great amenities. The decks, the neighborhood and central location makes it easy to go anywhere on Eleuthera. Rainbow Bay beach is 5 minutes away for easy Caribbean swimming and snorkeling. The owner, Dave was most accommodating and easy to work with, their caretaker, Israel was available when needed. Eleuthera will beguile you with their beautiful beaches and sights. The locals are friendly, sweet and kind, strike up a conversation with them and you'll learn much about the island. The island is not a place to visit if you want nightlife and partying, just go relax, read a book and disconnect. Indigo Seas is all you need!

Gem of a house

We spent six weeks at Indigo Seas from Feb 14th through March 27th. The house was lovely, roomy and well equipped. The breezes from the Atlantic we're cooling and we did not have to run the air conditioning at all. While we there high speed internet was installed and you can run jus about any application with no trouble. There is also satellite Tv with a multitude of channels and movie networks. The kitchen is very well equipped and we prepared almost all our meals at home. For at least half of our holiday we were joined by two other couples so we availed of the guest house as well. There was plenty of room and each couple had their own bathroom.

The house location is in central Eleuthera so most of the island is accessible in a day trip. You can walk to Twin Beach which is two small beaches just below the cottage on the Atlantic side. It is very private and we always had the beach to ourselves. The surf on this side is rough and can sometimes damage or wipe out this beach. Otherwise Rainbow Bay Beach on the Caribbean side is a quick drive away.

You need to rent a vehicle while here as most things are at least a drive away. This would be true of most rentals in Eleuthera.

It will be a while before we get back to Eleuthera but we would definitely rent this property again. It is exactly as promised, clean, and the owners were a pleasure to deal with.
