Unbelievable!

I booked this house hoping it would be a good house in a safe area for our family of five to stay in for a week. It completely surpassed my expectations. It sits right on the ocean with coral heads 20 feet offshore to snorkel around. We all enjoyed the pool after our full days of adventure. The house was very clean and spacious and had all the items we needed for our stay. It was about 3-4 miles from Governors Harbour where we picked up groceries. Food, we found out, is extremely expensive on the island.

We were very centrally located; utilized sky beach club several days for their bar/restaurant(Pascals), and the nice beach. We traveled south to Cotton Bay to dive and north to Harbour Island, blue hole, queens bath, and Preacher’s Cave.

Each day we would arrive back at the house, jump in the pool, grab a glass of wine and watch a video on Netflix.

Could not ask for a better place.

And the owner allowed us late check out since our flight was bumped back.

Thank you for letting us use your island home. We look forward to returning.

Review or Cupid’s Way, Governor’s Harbor, Eluthera, Bahamas

This beautiful brand new house was pristine in cleanliness. There was a lockbox with keys so we didn’t have to wait on anyone to open it. There was a master king upstairs with full bath and another bedroom upstairs with twin beds with it’s own full bath. Our kids and grandchild occupied the upstairs and we occupied the master king downstairs. There was a half bath downstairs. Also. There was a washer and dryer and washing machine soap available also. It was wonderful to sit on the back porch overlooking the Caribbean having your coffee each morning. A regular coffee pot is provided. My son and grandson snorkeled right below the house.

There are over 100 beaches in Eluthera — most open to the public. You need to rent a car to explore the island. We had wonderful snorkeling almost everywhere.

The best thing about the house was the responsiveness of the owner Deborah Vasquez. She answered every question in 10 minutes or so. We highly recommend this house and property as a 5 star property. Go there and you’ll love it. Haila Kauffman, 6/15-19 to 6-22-19

Amazing home on an amazing island!

This was the fourth trip to Eleuthera, but our first stay in this home because it is BRAND NEW! The home was absolutely perfect for our family with 3 teenage boys. Everything was immaculate and in top condition. The central A/C, reliable wifi, and relaxing swimming pool were great to come home to after a day at the beach(es). By far the BEST feature of the house is its LOCATION! The reef in front of the house has some of the best snorkeling on the island. We saw tons of giant queen and grey angelfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish, blue tang...too many beautiful fish to name them all...and even a sea turtle - all within 20 feet of the ladder to get to the water! The home is also in a perfect location for driving to some of the best things the island has to offer. Governor's Harbour is a great town to stay near because it has grocery, gas, a liquor store, and several great choices of restaurants (Tippy's Saturday night is a blast), but you'll want to venture to other parts of the island to get the full experience. Ten Bay Beach (must do), Eleuthera Island Farms (fresh bread, cinnamon rolls, salsa, and island-grown pineapple), and Lighthouse Beach are all south of GH, but you will also definitely want to also head north some days to eat at Rainbow Bay on pizza/live music night, and to see the Queens' Bath (best seen at high tide), the Glass Window Bridge, and the Sapphire Hole (teenage boy's favourite thing of all!). It will take more than an hour to drive north from GH to Sapphire Hole, and even longer drive from GH south to Lighthouse Beach, so unless you stay somewhere central on the island it can be tough to see it all. We recommend you pack up your snorkel gear (BYO or rent it there), the beach towels and beach chairs provided for you, a cooler with drinks and snacks, and a copy of "The Beach Book: Eleuthera, Bahamas Edition" (a must-have guide to the amazing beaches and how to find them; there was a copy at the house when we arrived, but we had brought our own just in case because it's THAT IMPORTANT), and head either north or south for a new adventure every day. Or take a day off and enjoy the paradise right in your own front yard! Either way,​ you won't be disappointed!!! We can't wait to return!

Amazing Views

This property has amazing views. We were able to jump into the water right behind the house and snorkel beautiful waters. We spent a day jumping off the sea wall and playing in the water behind the house. Deborah is very responsive and answered all of our questions. It is easy to get to with good roads to the house (this is not always the case in Eleuthera). The house is centrally located to be able to drive to all parts of the island. We made day trips both north and south. The most amazing beaches are located a few minutes across the street. The house is brand new, so it is clean and fresh.

A Slice of Heaven

Book this now before you lose the opportunity of a lifetime. This property is amazing! The pictures online do not do it justice. We literally felt at home as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The architecture and landscaping is breathtaking. Open the door and it only gets better from there. Immaculately maintained and tastefully designed, this house has all the amenities while still making you feel right at home. As you step through the back deck doors you enter into a spectacular view of the Caribbean ocean. We literally spent hours just staring at it! This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we cannot wait to return to this property. The owner is just as amazing! Being our first trip, we had many questions. She was responsive, very accommodating and gave us some great suggestions on things to do and see. Cupid’s Way will not disappoint!
