Fantastic house in perfect location!

This was our third vacation in as many years in Eleuthera, the best place on earth! We were extremely happy with our stay at Paradise Point. The home is exactly as described and we particularly enjoyed the privacy and fantastic views. The bed was extremely comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and Central air was a bonus!

We used the artisan grill several times and snorkeled in the "back yard aquarium"!

The location on the island is perfect! A short drive to Governor's Harbor and a two minute drive across the road to Sky Beach. We will be back for sure!

Great house, Great location, Great, Great, Great.

My family stated here for 6 days over Thanksgiving. 2 adults, kids aged 18, 15, 11. 2nd trip to Eleuthera, first time at this house.

The house is very comfortable and lays out well. Bedrooms are spacious, and the beds extremely comfortable. (very impt). Kitchen appliances very new as are many amenities in the house. House is very secluded with its own private road leading up to it, and a unique “lookout tower” which provided the best views on the island. We encountered a few windy days so time on the beach those days was hard, but back at the house my 2 teen girls were very content sunning on the back deck wind free and "plugged in" with WiFi. We spent more time than we thought at the house because it was so inviting. The trails to the caves and waterfront were awesome, we used them daily. Saw a lot of “marine life” down by the water, all very surreal.

The location of the house is ideal, as we prefer the Gov Harbour area. We drove as far south as Mate and Jenny’s (pizza) which was 20 min, and North as far as Gregory Town (45 min). Plenty to see and do in this area….especially Sky Beach Club, Retrievers Beach, Twin Coves Beach, Friday Night Fish Fry, Rainbow Inn, Rainbow Beach etc.. Newly Opened French Leaves resort is a few minutes away and a must see once there.

Planning to return to the island and would not hesitate to rent from Deborah again. She was extremely communicative during our stay and was wonderful to deal with, as was IJ who is the caretaker. Enjoy your stay!

An impressed island regular

I've visited Eleuthera many times over the last 6 years and have stayed in different locations. This is just a few minutes south of GovHarAirport and on it's own private road. It's very private. This house is a must visit. The island itself and various homes offer beachfront privacy. This is a house on a stretch with rocks, but the entry into the water is just a few steps through a wooded path and down a short ladder, like a pool. Speaking of which, the small area you first step in is like kiddie pool, pretty low during high tide. The only other human sounds I heard one day was from someone taking a scuba dive off to the side of the home's entrance into the water. It echoed a bit up to the house, but didn't bother really. Everything in the house works including the wifi. Many of the things missing in other homes are thought of here like a broom, drink blender, and yes, extra toilet paper. The bathroom showers are nice with plenty of water pressure. The patio is long and faces the water. There are 2 lawn chairs and a table that seats 4. The table indoors seats 4 and the living room is large enough for the capacity of the house as well. You won't feel cramped. I stayed here during the holidays and into the new year, it couldn't have been nicer. What sets this location apart from the others? Privacy, privacy, privacy. Cave on property. Private access to water. Close to airport. 15 minutes to "downtown" Governor's Harbor (groceries, gas and the Friday Fish Fry). Cable&wifi;. Nice kitchen. Great view every morning and evening over the water looking west. The owner is very easy to deal with. I would and will stay here again. This is a great first stay if you've never been to the island. If you want "beachfront" look into a book called "Elusive Beaches of Eleuthera" there are so many empty BEAUTIFUL beaches on the island, I've been to many of them even when staying at a beach front home and have enjoyed being the only one on each of the beaches I visited. That is how many beaches there are. Even during the busy season it's very easy to feel that you are by yourself on any beach. The patio catches great sunbathing from around 8am-5pm during the winter. This house is good for kids if you have kids that behave, the rocks outside of the wooded area can be dangerous if not careful. I as an adult even prepared and brought water shoes with me. Get a pair and take them with you even for other areas of the island if you are into collecting shells. Enjoy your stay!

Great time, beautiful view

My husband and I stayed here May 2013 to celebrate our 20th anniversary. The home has a beautiful view of the sunset every night. The snorkeling in front of the house is great. Stick to the left side of the rocks. We saw lobster, grouper (we caught two), giant crabs, starfish, sting rays, jelly fish and huge angel fish. Although there is no beach to lay out on in front of the home we would snorkel in the morning and evening here and then explore during the day. The home has everything you need with great views from the master bedroom to wake up to. The porch is beautiful to have your morning coffee on and to eat fresh fish from the local fisherman at dinner time. Thank you for sharing your home!
