A wonderful home in paradise

Perfectly equipped house, safe, private, quiet, and with incredible, breathtaking views of the Bay. We swam, snorkeled and/or kayaked everyday, right off the steps from the deck, and enjoyed hot showers inside and out. We bought fresh fish and lobster several days during our stay and brought them home to grill. The perfect location and amenities made it difficult to leave, but we did make it out to tour some good restaurants between Governor’s Harbour, Tarpum Bay and Rock Sound. We discovered nearby Fishbone on our last night and it’s a must! (Conch fritters were incredible.). Couldn’t be happier with our stay and experience. Rock & Nell were very responsive and informative leading up to and during the trip, and Arthur Nixon made the car rental very convenient. Couldn’t be happier.

Rock and I fell in love with this island over 30 years ago, and never tire of its natural beauty. We are so glad that house worked out for you. INCREDIBLE PLACE TO STAY

I have been to alot of tropical island resorts and none can compete with the overall beauty of this location.

Private Bahamian getaway

We had a wonderful time in Eleuthera!! It is a charming island with friendly people. It’s not very developed, which is what we were looking for, so i would recommend a 4x4 car rental. The house was exactly as the pictures depicted! It was clean and getting the keys was an easy transition from the caretaker. When you walk in, the view is breathtaking! We spent a lot of time just looking out and trying to identify fish. We snorkeled and made use of the kayaks right from the house. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals at ”home”. We loved our stay and hope to return someday.

Thank you for your nice comments about staying at Serenity Cove. And, yes we try to keep the kitchen such that folks who like to just hang out and cook will have what they need. After a long day in the water and sun, we find that staying in is a great option! Our cleaning lady, Sue, does a nice job keeping the house looking fresh and clean. She, rightfully so, takes pride in her work. And our caretaker, Arthur Nixon, is well-known on the island for his friendliness and taking care of visitors to the island. We are so glad that you enjoyed the island. Folks on the island are indeed friendly; this comment is one we hear quite frequently from guests. Eleuthera and Serenity Cove welcomes you back to the island.

Excellent

Great location. Well layed our space. My wife and two adult daughters had a great time and enjoyed both the island and the place we stayed. Would absolutely recommend this for two couples or family of up to five. The pictures on vrbo website tell you al you need to know. Owners very helpful in getting you started. Will rent again in the future.

We learned after you left that one of the split system air conditioning units was not working properly. The new unit was installed the week before you arrived and was in need of Freon. So sorry this happened. Our house cleaner also thanks you for leaving the house in good shape. Please come and visit again. Rock and Nell Walker.
