We had a wonderful week enjoying the roaring surf, secluded beach and gorgeous views... from many, many decks. What a treat to be able to walk an entire beach alone. The house itself is great too. Cozy, comfortable and spectacular views from the many windows. Perfect hideaway for two.
The caretaker and the taxi driver were charming and very helpful.
We will be going back to Desert Roses!

We enjoyed our stay at Desert Roses. The location is wonderful - close to Governors Harbor and restaurants but we felt that we were on a secluded beach. The beach goes forever and is spectacular. The home is comfortable and well maintained. The three decks gave us geat views of the ocean and the gardens.
The owners and caretaker were extremely helpful and concerned that we had an enjoyable time. We will return to Desert Roses on our next trip to Eleuthera.

We stayed one week in the property and everybody enjoyed it ! Both the owner and the housekeeper are very accomodating and responsive. The house is very well equipped and offers a lot of 'accessory' amenities like beach chairs, beach toys, snorkeling gear... The gas BBQ was great also to grill fish, and the outside property is amazing. It seems you would like to stay everywhere at the same time (1 welcoming hammock under a patio - a shaded deck at the back of the round house). A charming small path reaches the beach which is very appropriate for kids because the water is not too deep at that point. The place is so quiet ! I would definitely recommend it ! We will surely be back !

The photos do not show as beautiful if this place! The house, the property and the owners are great! It's the house that a lot of people would like to have on a seaside like that.

Wir sind eine Familie mit 3 Kindern und verbrachten unsere Osterferien in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus. Das Haus ist direkt am Strand, den wir ganz für uns alleine hatten. Das Haus ist perfekt ausgestattet, mit allem was man für erholsame Ferien benötigt. Es ist eines der besten Ferienhäuser die wir bisher gemietet haben. Barbara, die Hauseigentümerin ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Person, die uns auch bei Fragen immer sofort geholfen hat. Vielen Dank Barbara! Wir hoffen, dass wir nochmals unsere Ferien im Desert Rose verbringen können.
