Seabreeze is a lovely home, in a perfect setting.

I returned to Seabreeze for the THIRD time in as many years in June of this year. I keep going back because there is nowhere better! The house is definitely a home-from-home as regards its layout, furnishings and décor. It is light, airy, peaceful and beautifully situated close to the sea on beautiful Harbour Island. Once again, as before, Julia made it very easy for my return trip because of her rapid and helpful responses to any questions I had. Again I lapped up the panoramic views of the water, stunning sunrises and sunsets in calm and private surroundings; either from the large master bedroom terrace upstairs, from the pool terrace, or from the end of the dock in the cooling breeze. Seabreeze is a few minutes away from the quaint and historic architecture and musical culture of tiny Dunmore Town. There is a plethora of restaurants and bars to choose from in Dunmore, together with well stocked supermarkets.

Shabba and Shalese, who look after the impeccably equipped and maintained property, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, and they keep the house immaculately clean - including the amazing 10ft. high panoramic windows. Since my last visit the house has been redecorated, the pool surface renewed and the deck furniture replaced. It all felt and looked pristine and fresh.

Once more I went seeking rest and recuperation, and that’s what I found; enhanced by wonderful walks on the Pink Sands beach just minutes away from the house, and hours spent relaxing in the sunshine. I hope to return to stay at Seabreeze again soon. My next visit can’t come quickly enough.

Perfect house for a perfect vacation

Incredible Week at Seabreeze on Harbour Island....5 MILLION STARS!!!!

Our family has been visiting Harbour and Eleuthera islands for over 20 years. This year, we decided to rent a private home instead of a resort hotel. What a wonderful experience we had a Seabreeze ! From the first moment I spoke with Julia, she was warm, responsive and simply wonderful to work with.This home surpasses every place we have ever stayed, anywhere, not just Harbour Island. The layout was perfect for our family with my sons being adults, it was great that we all had our own in-suite private bathrooms. The pool was a welcome treat at the end of our day, the kitchen and great room area are perfect for entertaining larger groups or parties. If you are have the need to have a bedroom suite on the main level but also additional bedrooms upstairs, this home is perfect as well. I loved the balcony off the maser bedroom on the second level and the lovely chaise lounge chairs up there, the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day while watching the sunset. Having a private dock out the backdoor was really wonderful too, we were dropped off directly from the water taxi from North Eleuthera. The owners even had a Bahamian couple that took care of any additional needs we had( arranging golf cart pick up and drop off, calling for a cab on our departure day, housekeeping)which was nice to know in case anything came up during our stay.The home is stunning, private and perfectly situated for western sunsets on the bay side but just a 5 minute golf cart ride to the world-renowned pink sand beach and less than 10 minutes to all the incredible restaurants on the island. We especially loved the opportunity to all gather together for a week at such a beautiful home which also provided each of us with privacy to go to bed early or sleep in as we chose, something that the resorts or smaller homes did not offer, it was incredible ! Having used VRBO and AIR BNB quite often the past few years with travel in the US, Julia was by far the best owner in terms of communication and assistance on this lovely home she and Peter so graciously share as a rental. If you've never been to " Briland" (Harbour Island) or are a veteran visitor to the island ( like us) I cannot recommend this home enough, you will not be disappointed ! It's worth every penny and more when compared to the other private homes available for rent on the island...Bravo Julia and Peter creating such a lovely spot & for allowing us to stay in paradise at Seabreeze!

Amazing Seabreeze

We spent 5 wonderful days with friends at Seabreeze. The location of the house is perfect...close to restaurants and the beach. The house was very open and spacious, and the 3 master bedrooms were very nice. The sunsets were amazing and I hope to return very soon.

Perfect long wknd

House was absolutely great. Main house is very nicely appointed with stunning views of harbor and sunset. Rented a boat and had it tied up at dock. Really great long weekend. Opportunities for improvement are: guest house - which needs updating and kitchen needs some new pots and pans.
